The links do need to be on your homepage unfortunately. I know that's unintuitive with WriteFreely but it is possible; maybe ping
@sexybiggetje@mastodon.socialon fedi and ask how he implemented it on his instance.If I remember correctly, it was with some JavaScript so you should just be able to paste that into your admin panel or something.

Done adding the links to the homepage! Needed to tweak with the template file, but it is up in the footer!
For future reference, you can edit the homepage footer by editing the /templates/collection.tmpl file, and look for the footer part.
