Hello, I'm currently using newm (this fork) as my daily driver for my coding computer and I love it. I just have some suggestions that might help with making newm more usable.

• A way to toggle floating mode. Some of my applications (mostly apps launch through xwayland) are in float mode for not apparent reasons. I'm might be able to force them to open in tiled mode but I didn't manage to do that. Examples : Opening two firefox windows separately will open ones of them in float.

• A way to customize a bit more the lockscreen. I saw that some people talk about fullscreen configuration, but adding some styling modifications could be good too. The fact that newm have a default lockscreen is a really good feature that can be improved.

Also it might be a good thing to create a discord server (or anything else) for helping each other with newm. Anyways, thanks for this fork. I honestly think that newm is going on the right path for laptops. I hope the feedback is useful.
