#150 Threading broken by long, folded message IDs 1 year, 3 months ago

Ticket created by ~bearbin on ~sircmpwn/lists.sr.ht

Python's header parsing is not RFC2822-compatible. Extraneous spaces are maintained inside parsed headers, breaking the In-Reply-To header matching.

These two messages would have been threaded otherwise but were not:

Resolving invalid, cannot reproduce and I now believe this was user error.

#146 Non-subscriber contributors can easily miss messages 1 year, 3 months ago

Ticket created by ~bearbin on ~sircmpwn/lists.sr.ht

If a non-subscribed contributor writes a message into a thread, they will not receive replies unless CCd by respondents.

Should lists.sr.ht automatically forward them new replies from the thread they wrote to, or send a reminder email telling them they may not receive replies unless they subscribe?

Reproducer thread: https://lists.sr.ht/~sircmpwn/sr.ht-discuss/%3CC32T7UNXIK7O.3QD7A1EJDIGAQ%40homura%3E

I may be going up the wrong path here, but looking at the code this situation could only occur if the last message in the thread was a message with parent_id of the thread, but thread_id not of the thread, and null message_id. That's the only way messages[-1] can have a message_id, and thread.replies[-1] can have a null message_id

I have no idea how the database could get into that situation in the first place though, maybe there's something I'm not getting here.

#143 Clarify switching between monthly and yearly billing 1 year, 3 months ago

Ticket created by ~bearbin on ~sircmpwn/meta.sr.ht

It's not clear that 'switching' to your current plan allows changing between monthly and yearly billing. I ended up cancelling and resubscribing, which isn't a very nice user flow.

I don't know what issue ~ilmu is referring to, but this one is not fixed - I imagine it would be though when ~blowry's patch is merged.

Is this fixed? Duplicate PGP keys are currently rejected.

#124 Attempt to delete PGP key results in an "Internal Server Error" 2 years ago

Comment by ~bearbin on ~sircmpwn/meta.sr.ht

#96 is itself a dupe of #39

Really I think the best solution for this would just be handling the error and warning the user about how to resolve the situation. Disabling encryption entirely is, although plausible, not really an expected consequence of deleting a key - especially when considering the user may accidentally delete their current key when they meant to delete an old one.
