It is fairly simple to convert the existing kernel and initramfs into an UKI, which can be booted straight from the UEFI firmware. Since UEFI supports setting the "Next boot" entry, this would be a nice mechanism to boot Anemos once, without messing with the boot order, boot loader, etc.

Caveats:

• On a pre-built image, one cannot not simply extend the initramfs by appending to the file
• Building the image on-host would require objcopy (binutils), a bit weird of a dependency to force onto folks
