~cadence/bibliogram-issues#39:
Authentication

Would it be possible to implement a authentication for the webui?

Using a reverse proxy with basic http auth and that messes with the RSS generated, where the RSS reader / aggregator needs to authenticate and thus no image is shown.

Are you selfhosting? What environment are you running this in?

Yes, selfhosting. Running in a docker, in unraid Version: 6.9.2

Installed using docker pull, & docker compose with the yml file below. Config.js is modified to add website_origin:{domain},

version: '3'
volumes:
    db:
services:
    bibliogram:
        build: .
        image: cloudrac3r/bibliogram
        volumes:
            - /mnt/user/appdata/bibliogram:/app/db
            - /mnt/user/appdata/bibliogram/config.js:/app/config.js
        ports:
            - 10407:10407
        restart: unless-stopped

One solution would be to apply the authentication to URLs starting with /u/ and /p/. Then /imageproxy will go through without any problems.

Also consider if altering website_origin - which affects the domain name before /imageproxy in the RSS feed - could help you.
