Hi,

Hashtags are now (sort of) available on my instance through my personal fork. It’s not production-ready, but it works.

You can paste a hashtag link (instagram.com/explore/tags/blabla) or type in a hashtag (#blabla) in the search box. Hashtags in posts are now also clickable.

No, Austin's code needs revision and improvement before it can be merged, which I simply do not have time for.
