Any chance you could do the first few puzzles in retroforth? This would be valuable as the solutions are available in many other languages for comparisons and learning.

Would be extra cool to see how the solutions are developed in real time like https://twitch.tv/alca does for JavaScript, his day 6 for example https://www.twitch.tv/videos/827469214 or day 14 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/836855133

I've committed quick solutions for the first five days which I had done while sick and prior to resuming work on the Python VM.

Appreciate all the improvements in the Python VM; its almost at a point where it can be used in anger in my project.

What's next is spending time actually using the language to do things, hence the adventofcode reference.

It would showcase the language and I would guess nobody is solving the puzzles in FORTH...

Wow, I misunderstood your reply and did not realize you had committed solutions to days 1-5.

Do you believe retroforth is competitive with leading edge languages in the time taken solve these style of challenges?

I selected retroforth for its sandboxing-prowess and its very reassuring to know solutions to modern problems can be developed with the language to boot :]

Many thanks.

Any chance you could commit your solutions to the repo of solutions to showcase the language?
