I am trying to "validate" my website on my Mastodon account. Thus I need to add an HTML link with a

I imagine it have to be acceptable. In the case of Mastodon validation on links, it just say it needs to have "me" attribute, but not specify this attribute must be only "me".
If you apply the patch, notice me and I will confirm to you. However, if it only works with "rel=me" and nothing, it may be a reason to open another issue, but on Mastodon repo.
