Hi!
I like that imv supports Wayland, but there is an issue I have using it day to day. I sometimes have to look at game camera pictures and there can be thousands in a folder. With sxiv/nsxiv, I can hold down space and they play back, almost like a movie, frame by frame. It's very fast. imv is much slower! You don't notice it unless you go fast with it.
If you hold down the right arrow, it also will seem to keep trying to render new pictures without showing the next one. Like it skips ahead until you let go. sxiv will play frame by frame, instead.
I don't know if this is within imv's scope, if anyone else runs into it, or what the source of the slowness is, but I thought I'd mention it here and see if anyone else has had the same thing.
