seatd and polkit do no interact.

Some polkit rules may apply to "active" users, for which polkit has logind integration hardcoded. Polkit rules are configurable, so I would just swap any such rules for ones matching on e.g. your user or a group.

Do you think polkit would be receptive to doing something like wlroots and replacing their logind support with libseat?
