#125 Break <pre> overflow instead of showing scrollbar 2 months ago

Comment by ~limero on ~sircmpwn/lists.sr.ht

I understand. Maybe making the gray

 box always be displayed full width instead of having a overflow scrollbar would be better though. That way, you can still zoom out and read the whole message on your phone. Right now, it's very difficult to read the archives on a phone, as it requires you to scroll around in that little box.

Reading list archives on a smaller screen, like a phone is currently very annoying. You have to constantly scroll horizontally back and forth for every line.

I suggest the following CSS:

pre {
  overflow: auto;
  -ms-overflow-style: scrollbar;
}

To be replaced with:

pre {
  white-space: pre-line;
}

It will make the list archive usable on smaller screens.

Since https://todo.sr.ht/~sircmpwn/aerc2/248 was completed by https://git.sr.ht/~sircmpwn/aerc/commit/b72bb27cb45f25d1df0d93be17474d8a08715411 the next message will automatically be shown after deleting from the message viewer. I think this behavior should be an option set in the config, instead of it being the default.

Tldr; make functionality from above commit only enabled when set in the config file.
