I bought Goguma from App Store and tried the F-Droid nightly repository and while I was able to add one Ergo server which works well with chathistory and all loaded, I cannot find settings for adding other servers anywhere and am thus led to think the feature doesn't exist yet.

I think typing notifications can be helpful in a lot of cases like when a meeting is hold online over text so there is no need to quickly cut message and say that one is typing to request more time and they are common feature outside of IRC, so I think they could help new Gamja users.
They are supported at least in Ergo and InspIRCd on the server side, and at least IRCcloud.com and recently WeeChat (3.3) support it on client side.
