~mil/sxmo-tickets#484:
bemenu height default to 30 from 20

For a little while now, I've bumped the bemenu height to 30 from 20. This seems like a reasonable default. What does everyone think? I found 20 too prone to fat-fingering. This also feels closer to the dmenu defaults.

I haven't really tried 30 yet but I had indeed also contemptlated raising the default; in spite of having pretty slim fingers, it's fairly error-prone indeed.

I almost never miss-menu. IMO we dont need to bump this

with the right technique aiming is trivial. when you tap and hold the menu and move your finger around, the item under your finger is highlit and only gets chosen, once you lift your appendage off of the screen.

Some times I find it easy to hit the right thing, and other times not.

We've already changed the pickup call menu to avoid fat-fingering, maybe we should have a "driving mode", where UI elements are just larger? (Or I guess I could do swaymsg output '*' scale 3 to make things bigger).

I'm also still in favour of increasing the default yes, even though the tap-and-hold technique of course helps a lot.

Just to voice another dissenting opinion, increasing the height would make using a phone in landscape mode quite painful. Bemenu listings already do not fully fit within the screen, and higher menu options would make this even worse.
