You can set the default center in ~/.mepo/bookmarks:

center_on_coords 60.0 30.0;

I think what is missing right now for me to start using mepo as my "daily driver" is the fact that it always starts centered on Manhattan.

I would love to have a simple (maybe it exist but is not documented? i swear i tried to RTFM!) way of configuring default coordinates, and a default zoom level.

Ideally "last position", coordinates and zoom level of last time mepo was used would make a great default for most people i think.
