~sircmpwn/aerc2#464:
notmuch: mail: no address

Hallo!

I configured aerc to use the notmuch backend. But when entering the inbox, instead of having emails listed there is a lot of "mail: no address" visible. So I am wondering, if I did some configuration wrong or if this is a bug (Since I also saw a patch regarding this┬╣).

accounts.conf: [Personal-nm] source = notmuch://~/.mail query-map = ~/.config/aerc/query-map.conf

query-map.conf: inbox=tag:inbox and not tag:killed killed=tag:killed

Kind Regards!

You are missing a from address in your account config. But yes, it's a bug, it should have told you as much and failed to start.

Ah, I've been seeing this while trying out notmuch too, just submitted a patch to short-circuit it: https://lists.sr.ht/~sircmpwn/aerc/patches/14958
