22:08 <emersion> tried to strace, it doesn't seem like tickit is doing anything crazy with signals
22:09 <emersion> it seems like there's a function to give up ownership over the terminal you could use instead of destroying the context each time
22:09 <emersion> tickit_term_pause
22:10 <emersion> flushing via tickit_term_flush doesn't help
22:11 <emersion> note that sending manually SIGTSTP to the child process makes it stop as expected
22:11 <emersion> so it's definitely something wrong with the tty
22:13 <emersion> libtickit doesn't do anything with tcsetattr
