Heya, yup. You are right, I am failing to get an IPv4. The IPv6 seems to work just fine with SSH, even after multiple sleep cycles. I also don't believe this is an issue with SXMO, I asked a similar question in a pmos chat, and others had this issue too (although not on an older kernel from what I understood).

Recently SSH over USB has been really buggy (Pinephone, pmos, edge). Most of the time it doesn't work. Sometimes it works after rebooting.

#302 Sometimes the phone refuses to get out of suspend state 24 days ago

I have had the feeling that the triple-pressing/long-pressing of the up-button has become very unreliable. Sometimes I have to try 3-4 times to lock the phone.

Also happens to me when you want to go to sleep sometimes (perhaps unrelated). If you try to lock the screen right after you unlocked it, it doesn't work.

Hmm, I dunno. That page certainly looks like a translation mess. Also the rotation works just fine when just running startx without xdm.

In my experience one great issue with convergence mode is also a performance bug in sxmo, even if you get it to work well, it is almost unusable because the cursor lags behind significantly. Have a look at this ticket, more help would be appreciated: #268

Well, I am done debugging for today xD I hope more people look into this, after all, this will affect anyone who wishes to use the phone in landscape; this performance issue will be affecting anyone watching videos :P

Hmm, I am not so sure it is X directly causing this. If you do (via ssh of course ;)):

sudo service stop xdm

sudo startx

export DISPLAY=:0

sudo xrandr -o right

Everything works just fine.

Any transformation will actually cause a slow down. You can try "xrandr -x" for example, which just mirrors the frame on the x-axis. I already tried fiddling with some other options in xrandr; nothing yet :P

Examples:

slow: xrandr --output DSI-1 --transform 1,0,0,0,0.5,0,0,0,1

slow: xrandr -x

slow: xrandr --output DSI-1 --scale 0.5

slow: xrandr -o right

slow: Adding line <Option "Rotate" "right"> to /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-monitor.conf

slow: Following https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Display to rotate

medium: xrandr --output DSI-1 --scale 1.5

fast: xrandr --output DSI-1 --scale {2,4}

fast: xrandr {any default value :P}
