#6 Internal stuff 5 months ago

  • Parse markdown in descriptions (and where else?)
  • Add sanity checks - for example, you can currently create members with empty names. This makes no sense.
  • Split up API and UI; make an internal net/http wrapper that allows sending requests to a http.HandlerFunc without actually binding it to a port/socket

There should be a way to bulk add members to individual tags (and individual groups).

#5 Sync to proxying bots 5 months ago

Ticket created by ~spiral on ~spiral/pluralcards

Most early adopters will probably come from logging their system information on PluralKit or Tupperbox. It is crucial that these users be able to sync information logged in plural cards back to the proxy bots; it's unlikely that people would want to switch to a different thing if they have to duplicate everything.

TODO: Does this mean we need to add proxy tags and similar stuff to members?

#4 Mobile device support 5 months ago

Currently, the app is desktop-only. It would be relatively little work to adapt the templates to a mobile device; after we design a no-javascript menu for the docs website, we can use the same idea to put the nav somewhere accessible to mobile users.

More importantly, how will data be synced from desktop to mobile and vice-versa?

PluralKit groups should be imported here. Tupperbox groups should be imported to the groups feature.

#2 Switch tracking 5 months ago

Having "custom fronts", in Simply Plural's words, would be interesting - a system could set up a "sleeping" or "blurry" fronter for example without having to create a member with that name.

Some features (in addition to PK's fronthistory/frontpercent) I'd like to have here are:

  • Front calendar: between two dates, show a graphical list of everyone who fronted and when they were fronting.
  • Front pie chart: not sure how doable this is, but a pie chart that shows frontpercent.
  • Switch notes: write some text detailing the switch

#3 Show more information in member list 5 months ago

Ticket created by ~spiral on ~spiral/pluralcards

Currently, the member list only shows each member's avatar and name. It would be useful to optionally show more information (for instance, the group the member is in, or specific member properties). Similarly, users should be able to filter the member list, by whether a property is filled out or not, or by property value (or in the case of description, by fuzzy matching inside the text).
