Some times you can find me in #emacs on libera.chat.

#508 Default SMS (text message) contents 2 years ago

Ticket created by ~trs-80 on ~mil/sxmo-tickets

Currently, it appears to me that the initial/default contents of a new SMS are hard coded here.

Personally, I find it a bit annoying to have to delete that before starting to type my message, so I commented that line out.

But then I thought, maybe it would be better to put that content into a file, which the user could edit, instead of needing to edit the script in /usr/bin/.

If there is interest, this is a simple enough patch that I think even I could manage it. :D

Only question I might have is where to locate this new default_sms.txt file, and what to call it?
