~tsileo/microblog.pub#109:
Add Official Docker Image To Registry

I’m looking to deploy Microblog on https://fly.io/ . The best method I’ve found to deploy servers there is by directly referencing an official docker image from a registry. It makes it very easy to deploy directly from upstream and removes the need of running a local build first. Then the first deploy is just the initial setup. If you could publish one on Docker Hub, or another registry, that would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time and sorry if I’m using this email feature incorrectly. I’m failing to find documentation on using it properly.

Hey,

I was waiting to have a super-stable release before publishing on Docker Hub, so we will get there at some point.

But I think, you might have other issues while deploying on fly.io, does it support persistent storage?

As everything is stored in the data/ directory, so I am not sure it would work correctly on this platform.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!

Yes they use volumes https://fly.io/docs/reference/volumes/ - very similar to Docker volumes.

I’ll build locally for now, Thanks!
