Hello!
Thanks for reporting this. I went ahead and fixed the issue: https://toys.whereis.social/channels?search=little-guix-channel
Your channel was commented out from the channels.scm used for the public instance and so it was not indexed. Usually this happens when a channel causes errors on fetching, authenticating or scanning. Previously it caused toys to exit with an error breaking update process for all channels but now it will just skip a problematic repository when it encounters one. So hopefully I won't need to comment out anyone's channel in the future.
Once again, thanks for the report and sorry for any inconvenience!

It should be possible if we extend the toys-box record type with 'do-not-scan?' field and then check it while iterating over channels list. Not that hard but unfortunately I won't be able to allocate enough time for it in the near future

This would let subscribers know at a quick glance, which channels contain nonfree software.
Does it really matter if a channel contains nonfree software when it may also provide free packages at the same time? I think a user should look at the specific package they want to use and decide if the package suits their needs.

Hi!
What do you mean by unfree channels? Channels with nonfree packages in it? Toys already marks packages with nonfree licenses: https://toys.whereis.social/?search=linux-firmware
