The vdir specification is currently part of vdirsyncer's documentations and seems more of an implementation detail than something that's meant to be reusable.

Publish it under its own site, so it can be presented as its down thing. I'd want this to gain more adoption since there's no "standard" format for applications to access "local users' calendars and contacts".
